Foto Tip Friday: Turn your back to the sun.

Some of the most beautiful light can be found in the late afternoon just before sunset.. When this light comes out you will often find little pockets of light scattered through trees, between buildings, or reflecting off surfaces.  One of my personal favorite things to do is get people to stand in that light but turn their backs to the sun!

The reason we turn our backs to the sun is because we get beautiful back-light – meaning the sun is lighting from behind you – and it often creates a gorgeous warm glow!  It also stops the squinting in pictures as you aren’t looking into the sun and trying to focus!

Don’t be afraid to play around — Some of the prettiest light comes from thinking a little differently!

Happy Friday Friends.
Shine on,
Keri
