About Me

 

My name is Keri.  My middle name is Jeanne – hence the business name Keri Jeanne! I been blessed to be Mama to my little loves,  Jackson and Molly. They have filled my heart with more joy than I could have dreamed. I love the beach. I love to instagram. My favorite colors are pink and yellow. I believe in angels. I am a morning person. I love music. I love to dance in the kitchen with my kids. I have sang my son ‘You Are My Sunshine’ every single day since the day he was born -including the first hour he was in my arms. I have called my daughter my little Ladybug since the first moment I held her. I love my hazelnut coffee with cream and sugar. Photography and children are my two passions. Teaching is close behind. I wish on shooting stars. I love meeting new people. Laughing is one of my favorite things to do. The best advice I ever got was from my Dad when he reminded me to ‘Follow my bliss..’

…..Ever since I can remember when people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I always responded ‘I want to be a Mom!’  Sometimes they would would respond, ‘No, really, what do you want to be…’ …..’A Mom,’ I’d reply!  It is the most important job in the world and I couldn’t wait to grow up to become a Mom!  Some people dream of a big career, a doctor or lawyer, all of which are amazing professions.  But something in me knew I was born to be a Mom.

Although I have always known I wanted to be a Mom, there were other things I did before I welcomed my children into the world.

I went to college at Keene State in Keene, NH.  I have my undergraduate degree in Psychology – with a specialty in counseling children.  After I graduated, I decided to take a little different route and go back to another thing I love – teaching.  I received my Masters in Elementary Education from Lesley University in Boston.  I taught 1st grade just before my son was born.  After my son was born I ventured into my own business in photography.

Jackson and Molly are the light of my life. Becoming a Mom was everything I dreamed it would be.  It was difficult as any parent will attest to- but worth every second of it!  The look your child gives you, no matter how exhausted you are, melts you into 1000 pieces.  Nothing is better then that 🙂

I have been given so many gifts and we’ve been blessed me with so many wonderful people around us.  We have had such wonderful memories so far, I cant wait to see what is waiting for us in the future
