Here we are in the middle of January of the new year already. Hard to believe, isn’t it? Like so many, I find myself reflecting over the last year as we begin a new one. I am not one for ‘resolutions’ nor do I believe ‘January’ is when you need to start fresh. Having said that, I do think it is a wonderful time to reflect and remember the journey and use those memories as a way to help you thrive as we beginning this new path.
To say 2013 was amazing is an understatement. If you would have told me my 2013 would have been filled with all the amazing gifts that it was, I would have never believed you. There was so much growth both personally and professionally for me in 2013. The year brought me beautiful clients who gave me the honor of documenting their memories. Who let me stop time, if even just for a moment, so they can remember what matters. The year gave me memories with my own family too — The little things are what I fills my heart. The moments that somehow define childhood for all of us. Jackson and Molly both losing wiggly teeth. Jackson learned how to ride a bike. Molly perfected writing and reading letters. Both overcoming fears like roller coasters and trying new foods. Jackson learned to tie his shoes. Molly learned how to do braids in her hair. I went on my first adult only vacation to the incredible island of St. Lucia with the one who makes me happy. My friendships grew, as did my heart. My job as a memory keeper for myself as well as others flourished more than I could have ever imagined.
New clients – Past clients – Every session was like the first – filled with excitement and honor knowing these are the memories that families will hand down through generations. One of the most amazing gifts of 2013 was when I was voted Best of Boston North Shore Photographer – Readers Choice 2013! To say I was surprised is an understatement. Knowing my amazing friends, family and clients took the time out of their busy lives to vote for me means more to me than I can put into words. I am so grateful. I hope I made you proud.
This year I decided to honor my clients by sharing a year in review for 2013. If you have a few moments I would love to share my gratitude with you by reminding you of all the beautiful memories we created. I know its a bit long but I promise its worth it. I have included the majority of Keri Jeanne Photography clients who gave us permission to share their memories and for those who aren’t included, please know I respect your privacy but I am so very grateful for you as well.
Thank you for making 2013 the best year of Keri Jeanne Photography and I am so excited to create more memories with you in 2014.
In Gratitude and Love,
Keri
