One of the highest compliments I can receive is when my clients share my name with their friends and family. It is something that warms my heart every single time, because it reminds me just how meaningful my job is. It reminds me that what I share with my clients matters. It reminds me just how blessed I am to meet so many amazing people and give them the gift of their memories to hold in their hands forever. Not something I take lightly at all.
Yesterday I headed out (despite the horrible thunderstorms!) to meet the sweetest new family of three. Jill came to me from her best friend Heather. Heather is the mom of the adorable little munchkin at the top of the blog right now. Somehow baby Celia seems to still be that tiny in my head but really she’s a big girl running around these days. Lucky for me, I got to meet Jill’s sweet baby girl Victoria who really is that tiny!
As soon as I got to Jill and Marc’s I felt like we had been friends for years. Jill definitely has a way of making people feel welcomed. Marc came home mid-session so we could get some photos of everyone and I’m so excited he did! It’s always such a great thing when the entire new family is involved, not just the new baby!
So without further ado — meet this sweet little face… She was an absolute dream session — Even though she had a tiny (like so small it didn’t even count) fussy fit, she was perfect the rest of the time.. Although Victoria, I heard your Mom — She did promise you a car when you turn 16 if you just went back to sleep for a few more minutes towards the end… Luck for you, you did and now I’m here to remind your Mom of her promise 😉 But we agreed, for the shots we got — it was worth it!
This might be one of my favorite moments at a newborn session I’ve ever captured. The love between these three is powerful — lookout world! Jill’s beauty radiates in her smile and the look in her eye at the one she loves – Marc looks like he could stay in that moment forever with the two loves of his life – and that sweet baby girl is just enveloped in pure love.
Look out world — She’s watching!
So worth the promise of a new car!
Jill and Marc, it was so wonderful to meet you both – I look forward to sharing your family memories for years to come. We will be in touch soon with the rest of your gallery!
Much Love,
Keri
