Last night, despite it being a million degrees, I was lucky enough to spend the evening with such an amazing couple! Alexandra and Mike are two of the most fun, happy, adorable, and charming people I’ve ever met. Alexandra and I went to school together (even though I’m a bit older…shhhhhhh!) so it was fun to feel like I was hanging out with an old friend and her fantastic fiance!
When we first met a few months ago, Alexandra and Mike were ideal clients – Right off the bat I knew they were going to be a perfect fit for me, and me for them! They absolutely appreciate the artistic freedom of me as a photographer, and I absolutely adore how much they are in love! It’s not always addressed, but it is very critical to click with your photographer! You have to know who you are trusting with one of the most important days of your life is sharing the same vision. We discussed details of their wedding and expectations we both have (and the awesome creative freedom they gave me!) and by the end of our meeting we all knew it was going to be great! I had hardly any doubts as Alexandra had such kind things to say about a previous schoolmate, Sarah’s wedding photos from Sarah and Jose’s September wedding 🙂 I am so lucky I get to photograph such beautiful people – Crazy, right!
Anyways – we started out in Rockport, MA which is a favorite place for these two.. I have to admit, its a favorite place of mine too so I was excited when they suggested it! We walked around the harbor (sweating!) and managed to bottle up some of that love! It was obvious to everyone we passed just how happy these two are… I had three people stop and ask me in passing ‘Are you doing engagement photos!?” — clearly its written all over them!
Right before we ended our session, I asked if they would be up for chasing the sun…. of course they were! So we raced to Essex to Conomo Point… Here is why….
Worth it, right?! 🙂
Alexandra and Mike, thank you so much for
melting spending time with me last night! You guys were up for anything and you were a dream to work with. I cannot WAIT for your wedding next July — Thank you for giving me the honor to be there!
